1/4 lb butter
1/2 cup slivered almonds
3 tbsps lemon juice
2 cloves garlic crushed
1/4 cup ripe olives sliced
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
3 lbs broccoli spears trimmed
Melt butter in small skillet. Saute almonds, lemon juice, garlic & olives in butter. Let stand 1 hour to blend flavors. May be refrigerated overnight.
Steam broccoli until tender & place in serving dish. Reheat Olive Nut Sauce and pour over broccoli. Serve immediately.
